    Open source and standards

Governed AI, built on open foundations.

Regulated institutions should be able to run any model, prove what it did, and never be locked in. iTmethods builds on open standards, has joined the communities that govern them, and builds Reign to make them safe to run in production.

    Where we are members

Our commitment to open source. iTmethods is a Silver Member of the Linux Foundation, the Fintech Open Source Foundation (FINOS), and the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF).

    Our areas of engagement

    AI governance standards (FINOS AIGF)

Reign maps to the FINOS AI Governance Framework, so the evidence Reign produces speaks the language institutions and their regulators already use.

    Managed Fluxnova (FINOS)

We operate the FINOS Apache 2.0 continuation of Camunda 7 as a managed, governed service on Forge, and engage with the Fluxnova community and its public, consensus-driven governance.

    Open agent standards (AAIF)

We align Forge's tool and protocol operations with the Model Context Protocol and the open gateway work, and govern them with Reign.

    Open cloud controls (FINOS CCC)

Relevant to our sovereign deployment and audit-grade evidence work.

Why open matters for regulated AI

    No lock-in.

Run any model from any source behind a control point you own. Apache 2.0 where it counts.

    Standards-aligned evidence.

Reign maps to the frameworks your regulators reference, so the proof travels.

    Vendor-neutral by design.

Open standards make portability real, not a slogan.

    Build on open foundations, governed.
